  At Ace Karts, the race is always on. Ever seen V8s race indoors? Or Formula 1? Didn't think so.

  Real racing takes place outdoors. That's why Ace Go Karts Melbourne is the most challenging open-air go-kart track.

  It's 700m of pure excitement. In our high-octane Go Karts (Super Karts) your driving skills will be pushed to the limit. In our Rookie Go Karts, the same track offers a fun-filled circuit for first-timers.

  And we stop for nothing. Not for dark. Not for rain. Not for anything.

  The race is always on. Any weather. Night or day.
  

  All you need to do is pick a time. Here are our opening hours:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 9am – 9pm
  • Thursday to Sunday: 9am – 10pm

  We're 100% transparent about our safety record. But that's pretty easy. Because it's impeccable.

  When you combine our track, karts, staff and safety gear, you have the highest possible level of safety:

  • Pre and post race safety checks – on all go karts
  • Full safety briefing and video before every race
  • Races supervised by marshals with level-2 first aid accreditation
  • State-of-the-art go karting safety gear
  • Safety vests and harnesses other tracks don’t use
  • Super wide eight-metre track for safe overtaking
  • Proper run off area – no tyres boxing the track in
  • Custom-designed safety barriers around the perimeter

• At Ace Karts, we have several methods of booking yourself in for a high-octane experience.

  • You can book an exclusive race with us and your friends online or over the phone.
  • You can Arrive and Drive, and pay for your races upfront.

  If you're after an exclusive race, we need a 50% upfront deposit based on the minimum number of drivers in your party.

  If you want to cancel a booking, you can do that too. Here's how you can get a full refund, minus a 10% admin fee:

  • For Arrive and Drive races, you can cancel 48 hours prior to your race time.
  • For exclusive races, you can cancel 7 days prior to your race date.

  We also have full packages for parties and events, with everything you need to reach top speed!

• Can I book a group package?

  Yes! We offer special group packages designed to make your event one to remember. Whether it’s for birthdays, corporate events, bucks/hens parties, or just a fun day out, our exclusive races are perfect for groups of any size. Enjoy private use of our outdoor track and compete against your friends, family, or colleagues in real racing conditions.

• Are there races for beginners?

  Absolutely! Our Rookie Karts are tailor-made for younger racers and beginners, offering a safe yet exciting way to experience the thrill of go-karting. With speeds capped at 40km/h and easy-to-control steering, new racers aged 6-11 can gain confidence behind the wheel.

• Do you offer year-round night racing?

  Yes, we do! Ace Karts offers night racing on our outdoor track, with floodlights to light up the action. Whether you want to race under the stars or under the sun, we're here to give you the ultimate karting experience – rain, hail, or shine!
