  • Enduro Cup

    • Round begins with a five-minute qualifying session.
    • Drivers will be positioned on the race grid - from fastest to slowest - based on their qualifying time.
    • Race duration will be 80 laps.
    • Sessions will be run at, 8am, 9:30am and 11am.
    • Maximum of 24 drivers per session.
  • Wet weather

Ace Karts is an outdoor circuit and operates in all weather conditions. If wet weather is imminent or the track is wet, the event will still take place.

Super Karts will be used in all weather conditions. Karts will be prepared and tested by our mechanics on the day of each round.

    Kart allocation

On the night of each cup race, karts will be randomly drawn from the ball machine. It's our way of making sure all drivers are fairly allocated a vehicle for a go kart competition.

    Safety briefing

All drivers will attend a safety marshal briefing before each race (a safety video and verbal briefing). Drivers will be fully briefed on the rules, and regulations and race formats just like any other go kart competition.

    Driving rules and etiquette

Safety first. Always have safety in front of your mind - you have a duty to preserve the wellbeing of everyone nearby and the equipment being used for this go kart competition. Don't be reckless.

Don’t cut your fellow drivers off. When jostling for position, it can be tempting to speed into a corner and block your opponent out. If your opponent has a clear path and the intention to follow the normal path (known as the racing line), you may not cut him off and cause him to slow abruptly.

No Bumping – our karts are serious racing machines capable of speeds up to 75km/h. They are not dodgems. So always give your fellow drivers racing room and respect. Do not bump each other or attempt to run karts off the circuit.

Use your brakes – brake before the corners. Excessive sliding will mean a black flag, and you will be removed from the race. The fastest way around our track is to be smooth - the more you slide, the slower you will go.

    Back markers

If you are going to be lapped during a race, you must move to the left-hand side of the track and allow the leaders through. Failure to adhere to the flag or light system will see you disqualified from the race.

    Flags and lights

Yellow flag/lights – caution. No overtaking allowed and all drivers must slow down and fall in behind each other. Once the yellow lights are off, the race continues as normal.

Blue flag/lights – a racer is preventing a leader from lapping them. If the driver being lapped does not let the leaders though, they will be shown an "into pits" sign for a 10sec penalty or a straight black flag (disqualified from race).

Red flag/lights – drivers are required to stop and remain in their karts.

Black flag – driver is disqualified from the race. The Head Race Marshal and Shift Manager will discuss with the driver the reason for their disqualification.

    Championship driver discounts

All drivers who register as a Championship driver will receive a 20% discount for 2019 (Arrive and Drive sessions only) to get practice in.

    Terms and conditions

When signing up to an Ace Karts driver's profile, you are agreeing to all of our normal terms and conditions, rules and regulations.

    Credit card request

Ace Karts reserves the right to sight the credit card used for all online transactions. Failure to produce the card may result in cancellation of your ticket.

    Zero alcohol tolerance

Zero tolerance (0.00 BAC). Don’t drink and drive.

Ace Karts operates a strict alcohol and drug policy. If we have doubt as to a driver’s ability to drive, or believe that any driver may be under the influence of either alcohol or drugs, we will not permit that person to drive. Please note, that we will not refund or waive any fees paid or owing in the event that we disqualify a driver for the above reasons.
