Non-Championship Round Review: Fast Track Cruises To Win

Fast Track proved too fast for its fellow competitors in the non-championship round of League Cup racing on a greasy night at Ace Karts.
The side qualified fastest before holding off challenges from The Stigs and Oversteer Correction to record a five-point win.
On a difficult night for go-karting, the average time of each team’s five best laps was used to determine the grid positions for the final races.
Fast Track (avg. 42.593) started alongside Oversteer Correction (43.244) on the front row with The Peroltas (43.516) and The Stigs (43.597) behind.
Despite a slow start and registering fourth spot in the opening final, Fast Track won three of the final four races and took runner-up in the other to ensure victory and free entry into the next round of League Cup competition.
The Stigs and Oversteer Correction finished five points back on 31.
The Peroltas (27) surprised to take fourth with The Undesirables (22), The Ferrets (14), The Benders (10) and Redemption (nine) making up the rest of the field.
The sixth round of ALC racing is on September 8 as we enter the business end of the season.
